Pamukkale Thermal Pools reviews
The place iş really nice ı want with my american friends da really loved but the bill is expensive for a turkish citizensip more »
It is visually striking - as if you are suddenly transported to the North Pole, the white travertine formations are stark and beautiful. The most interesting natural pools are off limits to visitors..... more »
Beautiful park. Be careful...if you walk up the face of the mountain, you will either have to walk back down the face of the mountain or take a taxi down the back side. The entrances and exits are not very well advertised.
It was an amazing experience, picturesque as beautiful as is on pictures. It's definitely an experience not to miss should you be in Turkey. Some bits of the tavertine terraces built up by limestone deposits does hurt your feet, but well worth the experience. The stalls on top are not great but good for quick snacks albeit a bit expensive for what it is. The Hierapolis town with Roman ruins and amphitheater is also a must see. The downside is wherever you leave your car - up or bottom of the pool; you'll need to walk back to it, which is not as pleasurable after you've done a long walk. Thermal pool to swim-in at the top did not look great but might be good when it's really hot.
