Once an outer garden of Topkapı Palace, Gulhane Park at one time was opened only to the sultan and his harem. Today you, too, can picnic under the shade of trees that date back to the 1800s. Visit a hillside teahouse at the far end of a verdant avenue for views of the bay. On the western edge of the park, the former stable houses the Museum of the History of Science and Technology. Look for the Goths Column, dating from Roman times, which honors a Roman victory over the Goths. Amenities include a big, renovated pool and many kiosks selling snacks, drinks, and ice cream.     We walked a lot and took a break at one of the many benches along the way up, many trees, birds, squirrels, lots of parrots flying around, we took many beautiful pictures, it was a nice escape from...  more »

    You should go to this place in April 15-25. It's great place to enjoy all tulips in a right time!!!! Great view. Nice flowers installations. Book at least 2-3 hours for this location)))) I missed the most part, cause I flew in the end of April.

    Nice park in the middle of many monuments. It is well kept and the flowers are really nice and bright. It is always busy with tourists and locals so be prepared to sit on the grass for a rest. There is a play area for the kids and a few fountains spread about. Lots of photos opportunities and a great place to have a coffee
