Take in dramatic panoramic views of the city and traditional Turkish fare atop Galata Tower. A recognizable symbol of the city's skyline, the tower stands 66.9 m (219.5 ft) high. Often referred to as the "Tower of Christ," it was the tallest and most important building during the time it was being built. Have a meal or enjoy a drink at the restaurant and cafe located at the top. After hours the upper portion turns into a lively nightclub. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Istanbul holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Galata Tower and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Great view! but better to go in the morning to open 9 pm there is less world 5 to 10 minutes queue and more for photos, I think it's better in the morning. In the evening to avoid the tail is monstrous EntryView original -
It takes about 40 minutes to wait for the elevator with only two. Outside the passage way above the tower, the passage around the bottom of the fence, please be careful because the foot is quite bad. Because it was cloudy sky, I refrain from evaluating the view. There are several passageways to climb to Galata Tower, but there are many cute cats on the way. There are several small souvenir shops around. In the cold season, the temperature on the tower is quite low, so please do not forget to take measures against the cold. It is lit up at night and is beautiful. However, depending on the season, people who want to see the night view of Istanbul must be prepared for a considerable waiting time.View original

Really good view of Istanbul that allows you to take some incredible photos/time lapses/panoramic photos of Istanbul. The tower cost 35 lira per person to enter. But I would recommend paying for the simulator for an extra 15 lira as it allows you to get a 4D experience of the whole of Istanbul as well as giving you a sort of rollercoaster feeling. The top of the tower has a cafe & the floor below has a restaurant, both of which don’t seem too pricey. We went to the cafe and had 2 teas and coke and it was 17 Lira which isn’t bad at all. As for why I am giving this 5 stars, check the photos 🤓

I went to Galata Tower twice during my trip to Istanbul and it’s a wonderful place to be at. Specially at sunset time. The ticket price is TL 25 and up to 6 are free. There is an elevator inside so one don’t need to climb the stairs. There is a fine dine restaurant at the top with great views. The area around Galata is really nice with a lot of restaurants and small shops for souvenirs and many other things. It’s a must visit if you are in Istanbul.
