More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Pyramids of Giza, steep yourself in history at Great Sphinx, and then admire the striking features of Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary). Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 30th (Mon): walk around Al-Azhar Park and then take a stroll through Islamic Cairo.
