More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and Pyramids of Giza are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Head to Khan Al-Khalili and Oum El Dounia Galleryfor plenty of shopping. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Cairo: Giza (Great Sphinx & Giza Plateau) and Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids (in Saqqara). And it doesn't end there: wander the streets of Coptic Cairo, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mosque of Muhammad Ali, admire the masterpieces at The Coptic Museum, and contemplate the long history of Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan.

Traveling from Cairo in March, expect nights in Alexandria to be about the same, around 15°C, while days are slightly colder, around 26°C. Saint Catherine

Visitors flock to the town of Saint Catherine, nestled in the foothills of Mount Sinai, to explore the World Heritage Area's numerous religious and historic sights.
On the 15th (Fri), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Sinai and then explore the striking landscape of Ras Mohommed National Park. Taba is a small Egyptian town near the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba.
