Zielona Góra is the largest city in Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, with 138,512 inhabitants .Zielona Góra has been in Lubusz Voivodeship since 1999, prior to which it was the capital of Zielona Góra Voivodeship from 1950 to 1998. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at St. Nicholas’ Church (Kosciol Sw Mikolaja) and Park Kopernika. Muzeum Lubuskie im. Jana Dekerta, Zespół Willowo-Ogrodowy and Parowozownia Wolsztyn are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Andy Polish Pottery (in Boleslawiec), Christ the King Statue (in Swiebodzin) and Miedzyrzecki Fortified Region, Museum of Fortifications and Bats (in Miedzyrzecz). Next up on the itinerary: tee off at Sierra Golf Club, stroll through Park Siemiradzkiego, pause for some serene contemplation at Konkatedra pw. św. Jadwigi, and enjoy some diversion at Park Dinozaurow.
