— 5 nights

Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Relax by the water at Acqua e Sale - Stabilimento Balneare and Mediterranea. Change things up with a short trip to Point Break in Fregene (about 42 minutes away). There's still lots to do: ponder the design of Trevi Fountain, explore the world behind art at Galleria Borghese, steep yourself in history at Palatine Hill, and don't miss a visit to Roman Forum.

If you are flying in from Egypt, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. September in Rome sees daily highs of 32°C and lows of 18°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
