The opening of an international airport and subsequent development of hotels and resorts boosted tourism in Marsa Alam, a town on Egypt's Red Sea coast known for its world-class diving spots.

Escape the urban bustle at Marsa Shoona Bay and El Qulan Mangrove Forest. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Vivasub diving center and Shaab Marsa Alam. Change things up with a short trip to Speed Boats Tours in El Quseir (about 1h 30 min away).
