Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
You'll explore and learn at Vatican Museums and Trevimage. For shopping fun, head to Via Condotti or I Colori di Dentro di Maria Grazia Luffarelli. The adventure continues: delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill, steep yourself in history at Colosseum, explore the world behind art at Galleria Borghese, and hunt for treasures at Porta Portese.

To find maps, where to stay, photos, and tourist information, you can read our Rome tour site.

If you are flying in from Saudi Arabia, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 24°C, and evening lows to 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
