Culinary Capital of France

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Appreciate the collections at Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and Musee Miniature et Cinema. Basilique Notre Dame de Fourviere and Vieux Lyon will appeal to history buffs. Explore Lyon's surroundings by going to Musee des traditions bugistes (in Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey) and Palais Ideal du Facteur Cheval (in Hauterives). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Musee des Confluences, get engrossed in the history at Gallo-Roman Museum of Lyon, appreciate the extensive heritage of Colline de Fourviere, and walk around Parc de la Tete d'Or.
