A physical and cultural bridge between Europe and Asia, the transcontinental city of Istanbul serves as a living reminder of the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman empires.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Mon): explore the world behind art at Chora Museum, get engrossed in the history at Topkapi Palace, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Suleymaniye Cami , and finally visit Ortakoy. On the 7th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: appreciate the extensive heritage of Sultanahmet District, then explore the ancient world of Basilica Cistern, then admire the striking features of Hagia Sophia Mosque, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
