A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
On the 15th (Sat), wander the streets of Temple Bar, then examine the collection at Guinness Storehouse, and then see the interesting displays at Kilmainham Gaol Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, get lost in a book at The Book of Kells and the Old Library Exhibition, then steep yourself in history at Trinity College Dublin, and finally stroll around St Stephens Green.

To find other places to visit, where to stay, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Dublin trip itinerary planning website.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiport is Dublin Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
