Pearl of the Danube

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
On the 10th (Wed), snap pictures at Szechenyi Lanchid, then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), then get a sense of history and politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, and finally steep yourself in history at Liberty Statue. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Matthias Church, make a trip to Fisherman's Bastion, then take in the exciting artwork at Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria), then see the interesting displays at House of Terror Museum, and finally don't miss a visit to Heroes' Square.

If you are flying in from Egypt, the closest major aiport is Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 33°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
