Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Popular historic sites such as Anne Frank House and Brouwersgracht are in your itinerary. Take a break from the city and head to Het Twiske and Emperor's Canal (Keizersgracht). Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Thu): explore the world behind art at Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, then take a leisurely stroll along De Pier Scheveningen, then steep yourself in history at Molenmuseum de Valk, and finally browse the different shops at Passage. On your second day here, hunt for treasures at Haagse Markt, then delve into the lush surroundings at Rijswijkse Bos, and then explore the activities along Rijn (Rhine).

Located in the South Holland province, Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' most lively cities, as well as one of the largest trading ports in the world.
Visiting Haagse Bos and Hofvijver will get you outdoors. Museum-lovers will get to explore The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery and Museum Beelden aan Zee. Get out of town with these interesting Rotterdam side-trips: Hoek van Holland beach (in Hoek van Holland) and The Hague (Binnenhof & Landgoed Clingendael). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Escher in Het Paleis, try out the rides at Madurodam, take an in-depth tour of Panorama Mesdag, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Maria van Jesse Church.

Deventer is a municipality and city in the Salland region of the Dutch province of Overijssel. Get a sense of the local culture at Kröller-Müller Museum and Airborne Cemetery. Step out of the city life by going to De Hoge Veluwe National Park and Bussloo.
