A lovely town easily accessible from almost anywhere in the country, Sorrento overlooks the Bay of Naples and sits right on the Amalfi Drive.
Get out of town with these interesting Sorrento side-trips: Positano (Bagni d'Arienzo & Fornillo). Spend a day of island exploring on the 22nd (Sat) at Exclusive Cruises - Tours. The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Villa di Pollio Felice - Bagni della Regina Giovanna.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
On the 24th (Mon), take in the views from Ponte di Rialto, explore the activities along Canal Grande, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, then snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Doges' Palace. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the landmark architecture of Basilica dei Frari, then get to know the fascinating history of St. Mark's Square, then admire the striking features of Basilica di San Marco, and finally steep yourself in history at St Mark's Campanile.

Getting from Capri to Venice by combination of ferry and flight takes about 5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Capri in July, expect nights in Venice to be about the same, around 68°F, while days are slightly colder, around 83°F. You will have some time to spend on the 26th (Wed) before leaving for Barcelona.
