Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Palatine Hill and Vatican Museums. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Piazza Navona and Borghese Gallery. There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Colosseum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Louis of the French, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Peter's Basilica, and admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain.

Karachi, Pakistan to Rome is an approximately 17-hour flight. The time zone changes from Pakistan Time (PKT) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a -4 hour difference. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at I Tre Mercanti and Magie di Carnevale. Get some cultural insight at Doges' Palace and Scrovegni Chapel. Step out of Venice to go to Padua and see Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica del Santo, which is approximately 42 minutes away.
