Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Colosseum and Catacombs of Saint Callixtus. Do some cultural sightseeing at Pantheon and St. Peter's Basilica. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola, wander the streets of Trastevere, and explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill.

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
On the 6th (Tue), pause for some serene contemplation at Barcelona Cathedral, then take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic, then don't miss a visit to Casa Batllo, and finally admire the striking features of Casa Mila - La Pedrera. A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Visit Montmartre and Île de la Cité for their historical value. You'll explore and learn at Musee d'Orsay and Centre National d'Art et de Culture George Pompidou. Go for a jaunt from Paris to Versailles to see Palace of Versailles about 48 minutes away.
