Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Colosseum and Pantheon. Do some cultural sightseeing at St. Peter's Basilica and Palatine Hill.
