A trip to Zabljak takes you to the north of the country, a mountainous region that's as steeped in great scenery and views as it is in history and culture.
When in Žabljak, make a side trip to see Tara River Canyon in Dobrilovina, approximately Dobrilovina away. On the 21st (Tue), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Bobotov Kuk. Next up on the itinerary: explore the activities along Black Lake, appreciate the history behind Monument to the Heroes and Partizans of World War II, and snap pictures at Đurđevića Tara Bridge.

Perched on the edge of a fjord-like bay rimmed by rugged mountains, Kotor grew around a medieval settlement purposely built like a maze.
