Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery and Madurodam are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When traveling from Paris in June, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in The Hague: temperatures range from 22°C by day to 12°C at night.
