The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Schönbrunn Palace and KUNST HAUS WIEN. Museum Hundertwasser. Museum-lovers will get to explore Imperial Palace (Hofburg) and Kunsthistorisches Museum. There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Belvedere Palace, admire the landmark architecture of St. Stephen's Cathedral, examine the collection at Albertina, and admire nature's wide array of creatures at Schönbrunn Zoo.

Cairo, Egypt to Vienna is an approximately 8-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Cairo to Vienna. Expect a bit cooler temperatures when traveling from Cairo in July; daily highs in Vienna reach 31°C and lows reach 18°C. Start off your visit on the 5th (Sat): see the interesting displays at Uffizi Gallery, get engrossed in the history at Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, then pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and finally see the interesting displays at Galleria dell'Accademia.
