Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): take in the architecture and design of University of Limerick, then catch some excitement at Castlefergus Equestrian, and then play a few rounds at Dromoland Castle. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri): identify plant and animal life at Doneraile Wildlife Park, grab your bike and head to Ballyhoura Trailriders, admire the natural beauty at Terranova Gardens, then take in the local highlights with Walking tours, then see the interesting displays at Frank McCourt Museum, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Mary's Cathedral.

Dingle

Located on Ireland's western coastline, Dingle sits between scenic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
Relax by the water at Ventry Beach and Ballinskelligs Beach. Visiting Nature & Wildlife Tours and Dingle Sheepdogs Demonstrations & Trials will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Caherdaniel (Abbey Island & Irish Fairy Trails), Dooks Golf Club (in Glenbeigh) and Dursey Island (in Crookhaven). There's still lots to do: find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, delve into the lush surroundings at Glenteenassig Forest Park, go for a stroll along the water at Dingle Marina, and explore the activities along Lough Anascaul.

Traveling by car from Limerick to Dingle takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In August in Dingle, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 14°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to drive to Killarney.

Explore hidden gems such as Barleycove Beach and Derrynane Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Carrantoohil and Gleninchaquin Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Killarney: Ring of Beara (in Kenmare), Banna Strand (in Tralee) and Glengarriff (Beara Way & Garinish Island).
