You'll explore and learn at Volvo Museum and Maritiman. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Tjoloholms Castle and Vasa Church. Change things up with these side-trips from Gothenburg: Nordens Ark (in Hunnebostrand), Backa Hallristningar (in Brastad) and Tylosand Strand (in Halmstad). Get outdoors at Stendorren Nature Reserve and Skeppsholmen. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Uppsala Domkyrka and Hallwyl Museum (Hallwylska Museet). When in Stockholm, make a side trip to see Gamla Uppsala in Uppsala, approximately Uppsala away. The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Fotografiska Stockholm, walk around Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, step into the grandiose world of Royal Palace, and wander the streets of Stockholm Old Town.
