Admire the grand and evocative design of Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun), a towering Buddhist temple located in the heart of Bangkok. Established in the 1600s--but gaining its distinctive porcelain-clad prangs (spires) during the reign of King Rama II in the early 19th century--the temple represents an apex of religious architecture and is one of the best maintained of all buildings commissioned by the Thai monarchy. Open to the public as a place of worship and tourism, the site contains prized artifacts relating to the religious and royal history of Thailand. • Stunning one at Bangkok Thailand. I made many rounds day and night views. Preferably, take one day boat pass from Hop on Hop off boat pass to see so many attractions within 24 hours. One could spend half day to one day at Wat Arun itself. It’s a huge Temple with stunning views.... Many amenities provided within the Temple complex, ferry wharfs and around... Beautiful 👍
  • Very well kept and maintained. The walls are painted white and glittering with gold statues. The weather, hot and dry, made it seem all the more majestic and untouchable. We were very intrigue by the stalls that were lining the path to the main stupas. The carrots and watermelons were carved by skillful hands creating amazing work of Art. The patience and effortlessness are the great virtues they exhibited. So much to learn and see just by observing.
