As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Church of Saints Simon and Helena and Archcathedral Holy Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary will appeal to history buffs. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Khatyn Memorial and Nesvizh Castle. Take a break from Minsk with a short trip to Corpus Christi Church in Nesvizh in Nesvizh, about 1h 30 min away. There's lots more to do: try to win big at Casino Victoria Cherry, take an in-depth tour of Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War, appreciate the history behind Island of Tears, and don't miss a visit to Independence Square, Minsk.

Brest

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Belovezhskaya Pushcha / Bialowieza Forest and Brest Railway Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Brest's surroundings by going to Kobryn (Military History Museum of Suvorov & Aquapark). And it doesn't end there: brush up on your military savvy at Memorial Complex Brest Hero Fortress, examine the collection at Berestye Archeological Museum, make a trip to Lights Alley, and admire the striking features of Bison on Route Brest - Minsk.

Grodno Region, also known as Hrodna Region, is one of the few large areas in Belarus that was left unaffected by World War II.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Mir Castle and Zhyrovichy Monastery. Visit Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church and Halshany Castle for their historical value. Venture out of the city with trips to Lida Castle (in Lida), Church of Holy Trinity (in Gervyaty) and Ruzhany (Tank Monument & Lake Papernya). And it doesn't end there: step into the grandiose world of Kreva Castle, pause for some serene contemplation at Kircha / Evangelistic Church, get engrossed in the history at Museum of the HIstory of Religion, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Nicholas' Church.

Vitebsk Region

Vitebsk region is known to be the most naturally rich in Belarus.
