Barcelona

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like El Barri Gòtic and Barcelona Cathedral. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Casa Milà and Casa Batlló. Take a break from Barcelona with a short trip to La Playa de Sitges in Sitges, about 44 minutes away. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of La Sagrada Familia, tour the pleasant surroundings at Park Güell, see the interesting displays at Picasso Museum, and enjoy the sand and surf at La Barceloneta.

Doha, Qatar to Barcelona is an approximately 10-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Arabia Standard Time (AST) to Central European Time (CET) is minus 2 hours. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Doha in May, with highs in Barcelona at 25°C and lows at 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Granada.

Granada

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Fundación Cueva de Nerja and Parasailing & Paragliding. Step out of the city life by going to Playa de Burriana and Nerja Diving. Go for a jaunt from Granada to Nerja to see Balcon de Europa about 1h 10 min away. There's more to do: admire the striking features of Alhambra.

Traveling by combination of flight and bus from Barcelona to Granada takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Barcelona in May, you will find days in Granada are somewhat warmer (30°C), and nights are about the same (14°C). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) so you can go by car to Cordoba.

You can drive from Granada to Cordoba in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. In May, daytime highs in Cordoba are 34°C, while nighttime lows are 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Bilbao.

Bilbao

A city of stunning architectural and artistic heritage, Bilbao is situated on the banks of the Nervión River.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at La Concha Beach and Acantilados de Barrika. Step off the beaten path and head to Peninsula of Magdalena and Cabarceno Nature Park. Go for a jaunt from Bilbao to Santander to see Playa Primera de El Sardinero about 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Casco Viejo and make a trip to Taberna Plaza Nueva.

Fly from Cordoba to Bilbao in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. While traveling from Cordoba, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Bilbao, ranging from highs of 24°C to lows of 13°C. Valencia

A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
We've included these beaches for you: Playa Gandia and Arenal Beach. Visiting Antiguo Cauce del Rio Turia and Parc Natural del Montgó will get you outdoors. Change things up with a short trip to Guadalest Valley in Alicante (about 1h 30 min away). Getting from Bilbao to Valencia by flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train.
