Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Attractions like Playa de Burriana and Bioparc Fuengirola make great kid-friendly stops. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Recuerdame and VOM FASS Fuengirola-Costa del Sol. Venture out of the city with trips to Papagayo Beach (in Nerja) and Playa La Carihuela (in Torremolinos). And it doesn't end there: browse the eclectic array of goods at Mercado Central Atarazanas, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa El Bajondillo, and identify plant and animal life at Butterfly Park of Benalmadena.

Berlin, Germany to Malaga is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Berlin in April, expect Malaga to be somewhat warmer, temps between 25°C and 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Granada.

Granada

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
Get some historical perspective at Alhambra and Albayzin. Science Park (Parque de las Ciencias) and Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla will appeal to museum buffs. There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Munira C B, contemplate the long history of Mirador de San Nicolas, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Generalife.

You can drive from Malaga to Granada in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Malaga in April since evenings lows in Granada dip to 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Ronda.

Renowned for its deep gorge, the quaint, whitewashed village of Ronda has preserved its charm as an Andalusian country village.

Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.

Museum-lovers will get to explore Royal Alcázar of Seville and Seville Museum of Fine Arts. Get some cultural insight at Plaza de Espana and Barrio Santa Cruz.
