Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.

Karachi, Pakistan to Rome is an approximately 17-hour flight. The time zone changes from Pakistan Time to Central European Time, which is usually a -4 hour difference. Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
St. Mark's Square and San Giorgio Maggiore will appeal to history buffs. Doges' Palace and Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica del Santo are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Venice to go to Padua and see Scrovegni Chapel, which is approximately 42 minutes away.
