Nerja

Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. We've included these beaches for you: Playa de Burriana and Capistrano Playa. Visiting Playa de la Cala el Canuelo and Papagayo Beach will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Nerja to Malaga to see Alcazaba about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Fundación Cueva de Nerja, don't miss a visit to Balcon de Europa, contemplate the waterfront views at Río Chíllar, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of El Salvador.

The time zone difference moving from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to Central European Time (CET) is 1 hour. When traveling from London in September, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Nerja: temperatures range from 31°C by day to 17°C at night. Renowned for its deep gorge, the quaint, whitewashed village of Ronda has preserved its charm as an Andalusian country village.
On the 8th (Fri), take in the views from Puente Nuevo, explore the striking landscape at El Tajo, then take a stroll through Old City, then admire the landmark architecture of La Casa Del Rey Moro, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo Lara. Here are some ideas for day two: delve into the distant past at Baños Arabes, then step into the grandiose world of Palacio de Mondragon, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa de la Rada.

Getting from Nerja to Ronda by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and train. While traveling from Nerja, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Ronda, ranging from highs of 36°C to lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Seville.

A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
On the 10th (Sun), admire the natural beauty at Royal Alcázar of Seville, brush up on your military savvy at Torre del Oro, then admire the natural beauty at Maria Luisa Park (Parque de Maria Luisa), and finally steep yourself in history at Plaza de Espana. On the 11th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla) and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Barrio Santa Cruz.

Drive from Ronda to Seville in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. While traveling from Ronda, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Seville, ranging from highs of 30°C to lows of 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Mon) so you can catch the train to Madrid.

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
