Once a village of humble fishermen, Marbella is now one of the most cosmopolitan beach resorts on Spain’s world-famous Costa del Sol, boasting swanky nightclubs, classy hotels, and expensive restaurants.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Marbella Old Quarter and Baños Arabes. Let the collections at Grabados Somera and Museo Peinado capture your imagination. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Marbella: Ronda (ArtesamArt, La Tienda de Trinidad, & more). Next up on the itinerary: admire nature's wide array of creatures at Bioparc Fuengirola and take in the waterfront activity at Puerto Banus Marina.

Kick off your visit on the 9th (Sun): admire the landmark architecture of Alhambra, get engrossed in the history at Archive Saint John of God Museum, and then steep yourself in history at Mirador de San Nicolas. Drive from Malaga to Granada in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Malaga in April since evenings lows in Granada dip to 10°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Cordoba.

A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
