The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Kids will enjoy Ada Ciganlija and Strand. You'll explore and learn at Muzej Nikole Tesle (Nikola Tesla Museum) and Museum of Aviation. Step out of Belgrade with an excursion to Monument to the Victims of the Raid in Novi Sad--about 1h 50 min away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Knez Mihailova, contemplate the long history of The Belgrade Fortress, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Sava Temple (Hram Svetog Save), and take in panoramic vistas at Gardos - Tower of Sibinjanin Janko.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Belgrade is an approximately 7-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Israel Standard Time (IST) to Central European Time (CET) is minus 1 hour. In April, Belgrade is little chillier than Tel Aviv - with highs of 21°C and lows of 8°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Kragujevac.

Kragujevac is the fourth largest city in Serbia, the administrative centre of Šumadija District. Start off your visit on the 14th (Fri): explore the fascinating underground world of Resavska Cave and then don't miss a visit to Manasija Monastery. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: steep yourself in history at Oplenac, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral Church of Kragujevac, and then stroll through Ekopark Ilina Voda.
