Admire Romanesque architecture in the heart of Tuscany at Palazzo Vecchio. Built at the turn of the 14th century, the palace now serves as the city's town hall and boasts a collection of art and interior decor from the last six centuries. Tour the Salone dei Cinquecento, with its gold-paneled ceiling and colorful murals, or head outside to see the antique, decorative facade and the original site of Michelangelo's "David" statue. You can visit the palace's three courtyards and outdoor areas free of charge, or pay for a complete tour of the building's interior. Palazzo Vecchio Reviews
映画によく使われる建築物。堅固の外観と内部の部屋、アルフォルノの塔が素晴らしかった。映画のロケ地体感できます。 more »A building commonly used in movies. The exterior and interior room, the Tower of Alforno was great. You can experience the location of the movie.
Beautiful architecture and decor, and spectacular views from the tower. We bought a ticket that includes everything and were told that we can come back the next day, too, if we wish so. Actually, the ... more »
Very interesting. Do the excavation tour, well worth it if you stop and listen to the 10 minute movie. If it looks like rain either don't bother with the tower or do it straight away before the rain as it is closed when wet.
Beautiful. Just that. Each room is decorated in a specific way. The artists that worked on this palace truly gave it a flavour of aristocracy while keeping the warmth of a home. If you're a student in the E.U. you get a small discount. There are lots of different options. You can choose any combination of visits: -to the palace -to the tower -to the underground recently discovered roman theater On a good day, the line for the tickets is not that long (considering other places of interest in Florence) KEEP IN MIND! there is usually a line (around thirty minutes wait) for the tower, AFTER you have purchased your ticket.
