A convenient place to start your exploration of Ireland's oldest national park, Torc Waterfall offers panoramic views of the region's three interlinked lakes. You can reach the base of the waterfall via a short trail through a densely wooded area, covered in moss and known for attracting herds of native red deer. This waterfall is an important natural landmark on one of the country's major long-distance walks, a 214 km (133 mi) long circular trail that begins and ends in the nearby town of Killarney. You can access this popular trail by ascending a series of steps just to the left of the waterfall. To see the fall at its full glory, visit after a heavy rain. Torc Waterfall Reviews
Невероятная красота. Сам водопад и ручей текущий от него. Как и весь Национальный Парк Килларни. Обязательно потратьте время, чтобы посетить это место. more »Incredible beauty. The waterfall itself and the creek flowing from it. Like the whole Killarney National Park. Be sure to take the time to visit this place.
As far as waterfalls go this is a nice one, though obviously this depends on how wet it is. Nice walk to get there along good tracks. Reasonable grade, not steep. Part of a circular track. more »
There are two car parks one that requires a significant hike down and back up again, another that has a flat access to the Waterfall, be careful which you choose, particularly if you have mobility issues. Either way definitely worth a visit a beautiful large waterfall with a cool climate within the valley. Nice for a picnic
Easy drive to the small asphalt parking lot. Beautiful scenery walking left or right at the fork. The falls are down the right fork but definitely take the time to enjoy the left. Nicely set (200+) rock steps as you get closer to Torc falls. Awesome walk to and from with some magical mossy sections after. Take your time and soak it in.
