  • First visit to the caves and very happy we went. Tour lasts less than an hour and the caves are only a few minutes drive from mitchelstown. Guide was great and the caves are impressive. The entrance is daunting but that just adds to the whole experience. Take your time entering and exiting and enjoy the experience. The caves are privately owned which is a surprise. Most of these places are state ran. The caves are well maintained. There are no amenities on site. It's not commercial in any way unless you buy the cave book which I recommend too. The pictures of the cave I posted do not do it justice
  • Great way to pass a Sunday afternoon! I haven't been here in over 30 years, it was nice to bring my son here, and see the excitement on his face. We had an excellent guide who spoke very clearly and loudly which was helpful as we were in a large group. She answered all of our questions and had great knowledge. People visiting ranged from aged 4 to late 70 and everyone managed the underground and steps. We paid €20 for 2 adults and 1 child
