  • If I understand correctly, the area open to the public or the pond with water lilies is only the entrance to the temple because there are doors beyond which tourists can not go. Anyway what I saw is just nice: pond with water lilies with a nice door behind. In the eveningthey do Balinese dance performances so in the afternoon there are the workers who mount the set-ups so I would recommend going in the morning, obviously early. However the visiting area is very small so in half an hour/1h maximum you appreciate everything.

  • Like most temple in Ubud you cant enter. The pond and the entrance is quite nice though. Since it doesn't cost anything just have look.  more »

  • Bali is overflowing with beautiful ancient temples but this one is arguably my favorite of them all. It's hidden right in the middle of town but as soon as you enter the area it instantly feels more peaceful and calming. This has become a more popular stop so I recommend coming early or late so you have the place to yourslef to truly experience this tranquil water temples nature.
  • Beautiful temple surrounded by lotus garden. A good place to take photos. It is a little bit touristy but still not too crowded. Strategically located and easy to reach, there are many places to eat just in front of the temple and in its surrounding areas.
