Kedonganan Beach Reviews
We found the beach quiet and picturesque and it was lovely to walk along but I do admit the sea looked a bit dirty. more »

It is a nice beach... But some spot smell (from the fish boat). It is nice to walk all the way to jimbaran 😀😀
I love this area for the fishing boats and local life. If you walk out on the pier near Fish Market you will always find a friendly local person who will talk to you. If you like watching tourists have a lot of fun watching bus loads of them from China enjoying their beach freedom. There are a few resort hotels, some incredibly expensive down to the strange old Sari Segara resort that is so run down and like a dinosaur of a past tourist age, but fascinating to say the least. Very cheap to stay. Great for budget tourist. In the raining season you will be more than shocked by the plastic and rubbish. It is unbelievable people sit above the rubbish at the fish restaurants fine dining with their plastic bottles of water. So bizzare. In the dry season the beach is very pretty and mostly clean. Local families are forced to the end of the beach near the airport by tourism and gather at the end of the day. Local vendors selling corn, peanuts and other delicious treats. A new line of bamboo huts as small bars and restaurants has also taken up the fisherman's space, just before the locals area , but not many tourist come here yet. So maybe nice place to hangout. Bali the good and the bad. I think most tourists don't see the true reality of what tourism has done both to the environment and the local life. I find the people are still beautiful. One small smile or nod of head and you receive instant response and smile. Beautiful.
