  • Amsterdam flower market, I went in September, only one of the stalls had fresh flowers the other only bulbs and quite touristy, you do not realize that the shops are floating boats, curious to see, but does not give for more than half an hour walk. The setting is very nice.

  • There are many florists who sell all the same flower bulbs. It is nice to see but I think it is suitable for those who are practical and understand about flowers.

  • I loved the market, lots of seeds for any kind of flowers and plants, just perfect for someone who's into gardening! Of course also a good place to get all the touristy stuff. Our guide warned us though that the prices for all the cafes would be much higher here than in normal non-touristy places and recommended us to search for cafes a bit away from it.
  • It’s a typical tourist trap but still is a fun place to walk around. It’s puzzling why this place is called the ‘floating’ market because it is not the same thing as a floating market as in Bangkok, Thailand. There are lots of vendors selling prepackaged bulbs, silk flowers and souvenirs to take home for your loved ones.
