Experience the fruits of postwar reconstruction at Frauenkirche Dresden. Although destroyed by Allied bombing in World War II, the rebuilt church recreates the original structure's imposing 18th-century Baroque architecture. Enter to see the grand hall, and head up to the dome (one of Europe's largest) for fantastic views and photo ops of the city. Before your trip to Dresden, make sure to check the cathedral’s website as they frequently hold concerts. Frauenkirche Dresden reviews
Very good reconstruction of the Frauenkirche. Tower costs entry but you will be rewarded with a very nice view. The cellar vault is also impressive. Very good acoustics. I heard an organ concert in the Frauenkirche. I find the events taking place in the Frauenkirche very interesting and very nice. I really enjoyed the visit. Highly recommended.
Lovely church. And the view of Dresden and the Christmas Markets was superb. There is a discount for seniors taking the elevator to the viewing area around the top of the dome. But you must be capable of walking down.
