Drive or arrange an excursion to this calm coastal area, located 60 km (37.2 mi) south of Marsa Alam. Bring your snorkeling gear and head out into the waters to investigate the coral reef, where you'll spot butterfly and puffer fish, clownfish, and groupers. Make sure to bring water, food, and an umbrella--the beach offers no natural shade, and the only amenities are available from Bedouin men and women who sell some refreshments and rent out tents.   • One of the best beaches you could see. The place is magical, water is crystal clear and snorkeling is great as reefs are very close to the surface also,its great place for kids to swim.  more »

  • A small marina for felucca and fishing boats.
  • One of the best beaches to ever exist. Crystal clear water, white sand, beautiful corals, who can ask for more? Excellent coral reefs start 20 meters from the shore and extend onwards but actually the ones close to the Royal Tulip hotel where I stayed were better. Nice shaded areas managed by the local Bedouins serving tea and coffee. There are bathrooms but no showers.
