  • Fantastic majestic structure. I enjoyed every second of my visit there. It is a World Heritage site and you can understand why when your standing in front of it. The long walk up the stairs/ramp towards the upper building gives you the chance to really appreciate the workmanship and knowledge it took to create this structure. The history behind is so interesting. A good guide is imperative.
  • When the police start offering to take you behind the closed off ropes, don't. They are just trying to scam you and will be expecting a tip. Saw Many tourists fall for it. Although I understand how it's natural to follow orders when a guy with a machine gun tells you to "come over here".
