  • Plan to spend time here as there is so much to see and read. Historical displays are well laid out, personalized for greater impact and understanding. Not really a place for young children though.  more »

  • A great place to go to yourself or with family. A lot of different exponents that are worth checking out. They tell the story of the greater conflict through the contribution of Canada. Lots of great uniforms, photos and vehicles in this place. Plus the architecture is definitely something that draws the eye. I highly recommend the war museum as an Ottawa must.
  • Amazing museum at a really cheap price. It was around 19$ with taxes and if you want to see everything you really have to take the whole day. We came around 13:00 and took a dinner there and had to leave because it closed at 20:00 and we even had to skip some stuff! There's so much stuff to see from different era and the last room with all the vehicles was really impressive. There's a small area to commemorate the dead which is a nice touch as well.
