  • This is a public market with a lot of fruit shops, fresh and dry meat and sandwich shops. There are more restaurant quick byte stall on the top floor. The vendors are bit pushy don't be intimidated, keep walking and stroll around . Stop by this market for a quick bite if you are around the area. But not worth to keep it part of your tour plan. The place is neat, good restrooms, cab availability right outside but we opted Uber.
  • All types of food. Not only local foods but the stuff that you would never find in a regular grocery store. Not only foods as I noticed couple of tobacco shops as well. Parking Q was a bit long but it depends on the time of the day that you would visit. The mix of smells between dried meats and cheeses is not recommended for people with sensitive stomach. But over all nice experience specially if you are interested in tropical fruits that you would never find anywhere else apart from São Paulo or Brazil in general. Worth visit if you are in town anyways so why not to drop by.
